Mine Til' Death is a short videogame for the Brackeys 12 Gamejam, 2024.

The theme for this year was "Calm Before The Storm". But we ended up, after some deep thought, "twisting" the term, and focused our efforts in the calm AFTER the storm. Ironically, about an endless loop of events, so what could be a BEFORE, can also be considered an AFTER if you change your perspective, and in this case is about THE SUN GOING DARK.

ABOUT THE GAME:

You’ve lost all that was ever dear—family, home, and the sun’s tender embrace. Now, you wander alone, clutching a delicate flame against the everlasting shadows. The night creatures stir, their hunger unrelenting as they slither in the darkness, always eager for the light to falter. The flame is your sole companion in this desolate realm. Welcome, dear wanderer, to the Ever-Dark.

After the sun went dark, there was no other option but to keep the flame alive.
